Context

We rolled out a 360 strategy built around four pillars: technical, semantic, link building and GEO, with a 12-month roadmap designed to generate quick wins without compromising long-term growth.

Solution

Technical audit & on-site optimization

  • Full architecture audit: handling of orphan pages, canonical normalization, cleanup of redirect chains, crawl budget optimization on strategic category pages.
  • Internal linking overhaul to channel PageRank toward priority category pages and product pages with the highest conversion potential.
  • Improvement of Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) on listing pages and product pages, with a mobile-first focus.
  • Expanded indexing coverage: from about 10,300 to more than 15,200 pages indexed and ranking in 12 months, thanks to the cleanup of subcategories that were previously invisible to Google.

‍

Semantic & content strategy

  • Overhaul of title and meta description tags on key category and subcategory pages, with an intent-based logic (transactional vs inspirational).
  • Creation of an editorial layer: buying guides, advice pages, body type / occasion / season content to capture informational queries and feed topical authority.
  • Enrichment of category pages with structured SEO text blocks, without degrading the user experience or the brand aesthetic.
  • Leveraging high-performing pages that already existed (e.g. the trouser size guide) to turn them into genuine SEO hubs; this single page now ranks for more than 4,700 keywords, including 649 in the top 3.

‍

Link building & domain authority

  • Targeted link building campaign across the fashion, lifestyle and men's press ecosystem, calibrated on priority themes (suit, linen, chino, denim, seasonality).
  • Diversification of anchor profiles to support strategic category pages without unbalancing the overall profile.

‍

GEO: visibility in generative engines

  • Mapping of the strategic prompts on which Celio needed to appear: inspiration queries ("which shirt for a men's wedding outfit"), comparison queries ("best men's chino brands"), and use-case queries ("how to dress for an interview").
  • Restructuring of key content into answer-ready format: short answers at the top of the page, explicit semantic structuring, citable factual data (materials, cuts, care, sizes).
  • Strengthening of the presence on sources cited by LLMs (fashion press, specialized forums, lifestyle guides).
  • Monthly monitoring of Celio's share of citation in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews across a panel of 150 strategic prompts.
